The Irish Environmental Researchers' Colloquium is now well established in the annual calendar of environmental researchers in Ireland. The next colloquium, Environ2004, will be held at the University of Limerick.

UPDATE! 23rd January 2004
A web version of the full abstract listing (N.B. file > 1MB) pdf file is available with some minor corrections to the version being printed, but no page numbering changes.
Two new abstracts are available in a file called Extra Abstracts. One of these abstracts was submitted very early on, but got lost in the ether. Hence we have broken our own rules and changed Programme Layout for Sunday morning.
We can still take a few poster abstracts and will include them in updates to this file. Paper copies of this file will be available for delegates.

Our emails are now only going to those who have registered. Please tell anyone you know who is "thinking" of turning up at the Colloquium to register as soon as possible. We wish to fiinalize numbers for reception, lunches, colloquium dinner and it difficult to guess these things. They can pay on arrival by credit card, cheque or by an agreement to raise an official purchase order.

We have finalised the programme for Environ2004. Hard copies will be presented to you on your arrival, so save paper and do not go printing all of these! Soft copies for the Outline Programme, Programme of Oral Presentations and a full abstract listing (N.B. file > 1MB) are available online now.

Just about three weeks to go!
Thank you all for your co-operation. Abstract submission has proceeded very satisfactorily… we will have 5 simultaneous sessions for all day Saturday and Sunday morning. And about a 100 posters to browse. We look all look forward to a very busy and useful colloquium.
Abstract submission is now closed except for emergency cases! Please see our abstracts page. We will be going to print shortly.

Registration. You may continue to register for attendance. Please do this as soon as possible to allow us to estimate numbers for each event. Payment is now easily possible by credit card (details on registration page), or can be accepted on the day by cheque or credit card. However, even if payment is to follow, please register as otherwise we may not have enough lunches, books of abstracts etc. and priority will be given to those who have booked.

We welcome you to the UL campus. Closer to the event we will be giving further information on how to get to the campus. In the meantime you can get some information on the Campus by visiting the main UL website, and on the College of Science website.
This year we hope that the majority of registrations will be made on-line. We will also be accepting abstractions for Oral and Poster presentations on-line. If, for any reason, the use of on-line registration and abstract submission does not suit you, then we will of course accept other options (email, post, fax in that order of preference).
